A Guide To Selling Your House Quick

There are many different ways that you can get a fast property sale. The first thing that you need to do is decide on just how fast you need to be able to sell your home. This will help you determining which method to use.

Estate agent

Generally when a person only has about 6-12 months to sell their home they look for an Estate Agent that will be able to assist them in the process. An Estate Agent will help you to get the best price possible for selling your home. The Estate Agent will take photos of your home and they will also take measurements to add to a brochure to sell your home.

After the agent gets ahold of all of the details they need for your home, they will then place your home on the market to sell it. They will do this in their office or over the internet. Be prepared because there are Estate Agent fees that you can expect to pay. The fees are generally 1-2% of the sale that is made. If you plan to use a sole agent then you should expect to pay about 3% .

Property Auction

People that only have 6 weeks to 3 months to sale their home can try using a property auction to sell it. Your home will generally be placed on the market for about 2 to 3 weeks before contracts are exchanged. The completion will generally be 28 days from the day it started.

The downturn of a property auction is that there is no guarantee that you will make an agreement with someone to sell your property within the 28 days that your house is up for sale. You can always set a reserve price so that you don’t sell your home for any less than what you’d be happy selling it for.

Private Sell

If you’d like, you can opt for doing a private sell on your home. There are several different ways that you can go about selling your home privately. A few of the ways that you can do so is by listing your home for sale in a newspaper or on a classified ads site online like Triangle House Hunter. A few other places that you can choose to sell your home would be on Ebay or Gumtree. When you sell your home privately you don’t have to worry about paying any Estate Agent fees.
